BioSoooo, let's see. Ageing bottle blonde with gothic tendencies (well, most of my clothes are black, my living room looks like Vlad's just left and I think Nick Cave would be a right laugh to have a drink with) whose ambition is to sew corsets for a living in a cottage half-way up a mountain with dogs and a vegetable garden.
I have no kids so one day I will lure some fresh-faced passing Hansel and Gretel types into said cottage and shackle them there to care for me in my eccentric old age. In exchange I'll teach them the intricacies of steel boned corsetry whilst bombarding them with extremely loud German rock.
Jeepers! and despite whatever the above may imply - I really don't do drugs!
Anyway, this blog is here for me to vent all the corset and sewing stuff that I normally bore people rigid with. I don't plan on introducing other day to day stuff as I went down that road with a MSN blog a few years back and it turned into a painful exercise in pseudo teen angst, which I really am far too long in the tooth for.
What else? Graphic designer to trade, but deathly bored of it. It's mind-numbing sitting in front of a Mac all day. I miss the old days of literally getting your hands dirty (well inky anyway). I suppose that's what I like about making corsets; it's using my hands and the creative part of my brain again.
Feel free to friend me, but only if you have something in common with me. If you're a 15 year old R&B lover who can only write in text speak then I very much doubt we'll have anything to say to each other. But otherwise...go ahead.
